The owner of the home was an outstanding creative metal artist, crafting many large whimsical yard and wall pieces! His property boasts 6 buildings, a home, guest house, barn, workshop, garage and garden shed, each brimming with special items. His family has collected several pieces of George Nakashima original furniture, Francisco Zuniga sculptures, Mid-century Hans Wegner furniture, Navajo wall textiles, and many collectibles. This is an incredible, extremely rare sale with purchasing parameters unlike our typical sales. Most items are priced and available for purchase at the sale on Saturday and Sunday 9:00-2:00.
The George Nakashima furniture and Francisco Zuniga sculptures will be sold on a bid-basis and will not be available for purchase at the sale on Saturday. We will accept emailed or in-person bids through Saturday, 11/8, at 2pm. We will contact the buyer with the highest bids on Saturday, 11/8, after 4pm for payment and to make arrangements for pick up. If purchasing by wire transfer, that will occur on Monday morning, 11/10. We will be unable to have phone conversations from Saturday, 11/8, at 8am through Sunday, 11/9, at 4pm due to the business of the estate sale. - We will help with retaining or removal from the seller’s property and hold the item(s) until packer/shipper arrangements can be made.
- Payment terms include: cash, check or wire transfer. Once payment has cleared the bank, pick up can be scheduled.
